What type of men do women respect?

I respect a man that doesnt have a wandering eye, one with the passion and drive to follow what he wants, and one who is smart and clever. A sense of humor always helps but strong will power is definitly needed. But what does this mean in respect to me as a feminist? It got me thinking about what a healthy relationship is in regard to being a feminist.

Should feminists be completely independent? What is the ideal partner for an independent woman? Does there need to be some co-dependence in order to make the relationship stick together? I definitely do not have the answers to those questions but I do know what I look for in a relationship and whether that is feminist of me or not I don't know.

For me, as we have discussed in class, feminism is about your choice. I think it's fair to say we all probably have varying traits and characteristics that we prefer in men. But I think that's okay, I don't think there is any cookie cutter type of man that a feminist should or is attracted to. As feminists, we get to decide that ideal "type" for ourselves.
